It was early morning and there was plenty of light BUT the subject was on a branch of a tree in the shade and i used exposure compensation to get the right result.Equipment
A Nikon D750 and a NIKON 200-500MM F5.6 lens on a monopod.Inspiration
A love of wildlife and capturing the moment.Editing
Yes, basic contrast, light, shade ,saturation and sharpening. This shot was not cropped. In my camera bag
A Nikon D750 and D7100 body and my go to lens a Nikon 200-500mm F5.6 lens, a Nikon 300mm F4 lens and an 18-200mm F3.5-5.6 lens, monopod and bean bag.Feedback
Early morning light is the best time to capture wildlife on safari and a lot of patience as nature doesn't always perform as you want it to and when it happens be ready to capture the moment.Timing is crucial as your subject may move or disappear as quickly as it arrived. A few seconds can make the difference between an amazing capture and also ran picture.
