Great shot! Though she looks like she has a lump in her arm pit. You might let her know.

I agree Robyn C - that does look like a lump. It could be a an ingrown hair from shaving

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my little home studio, in Basel. She is a friend of mine and she visited me there and one day we thought i could take some picture of her. I had never really done such things before since my lights were quite new so for me shewas also a very good "test subject".

Time

We started the whole shooting late evening, we shot couple of images.

Lighting

It was really experimentation. Since she was the first one in my little studio i photographed. So we tried many-many settings. I think what is more interesting in the picture is her expression :)

Equipment

Camera: nikon d7100, 35mm 1.8, handheld, really basic lights... And my white wall.

Inspiration

I'm naturally interested in taking portraits. To catch the moment which really represent the person itself.

Editing

Yes, of course. I shoot in raw, so there are minor adjustments on the picture. I played quite a lot with the curves and black and whites.

In my camera bag

I usually carry four lenses. The 35mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.8, nikon 105 mm 2.8 macro, tamron 28-75 2.8 and i have a Tamron 10-24mm too. But it also depends what kind of things i am about to shoot.

Feedback

Have a wonderful model ;)
