I went to Glacial Park because the temperature finally got into the 50's. There was still 3 inches of ice and snow on the viewing platform where I set up my tripod. I was just about to pack up to go home when in flew a Green-winged Teal Duck. This duck does not stay in Illinois but migrates north into Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada to breed. I was excited to photograph a bird new to me.
