I went to Glacial Park because the temperature finally got into the 50's. There was still 3 inches of ice and snow on the viewing platform where I set up my tripod. I was just about to pack up to go home when in flew a Green-winged Teal Duck. This duck does not stay in Illinois but migrates north into Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada to breed. It was exciting to capture a new bird to me.

I love these little birds, too bad there was so much snow and ice. By the way the temperature here is 20 (68F). Just say'in. :)
