Aspens in the Cimmaron River Valley. Some of them have completed their seasonal defoliation cycle. Some are in the midst of it. And some are just getting started.

Those that share a the same roots also share their cycle.

A single grove of aspens can all share a common root system, making it one of the largest living organisms on the planet.
