A very warm evening approx 19:00 - midsummer day 23rd of June. On a swamp in KajaniLighting
At midsummer in this northern part of Scandinavia there are light all day around. Midnight sun as far south as Bodø in Norway from beginning of June to beginning of July. The sun go down to sea level and then raise again. never dark that time of the year. More north this period is even longer. very nice experience. Beautiful time when sun is low in horizon. This is the same in Finland and Sweden as well, but Norway do have a more spectacular coat line.Equipment

We sat all night in a hide on this swamp. A mother brown bear and her two cubs came across to us an lay down. Quite big difference in size on these two small cubs.Editing

Canon 1Dx Mark II, 70-200 F2,8. Canon 24-105 and 16-35 F2,8. My favourite Canon 600mm is not normally not in my bag but I love that lense. 200-400 incl ext1,4is fantastic and normally in my bagFeedback
This was a very nice and exiting experience. You have to be patient in hide. No need for the very big lenses on this kind of trip. Some parts of Finland you may see wolf and wolverine as well.
