It wasn't until I had a chance to get some rest that I was able to see the potential behind this raw file. I got up and out of bed by 3:30 AM to try and capture the milky way. When I got to the spot clouds had rolled in. I had driven about 50 miles that early morning to escape from the city lights, I felt like what a disappointment it had turned out to be. But, I soon realized that the same clouds that scrubbed the milky way photo shoot mission were also going to be responsible for providing some creative chances at capturing other photos. I had to get to work and rely pretty hard on the use of Luminar software and Lightroom. Conditions were pretty tough because of some very poor lighting. After all was said and done, I must admit I ended up with a photo I thought would have never been there unless I got me some real needed rest. I think the key thing here was resting before editing.
