Everyone else taking photos of old locos. I got chatting to driver his name was Colin and he was a volunteer at museum. Asked him if he minded me taking his picture and he duly obliged.Editing
For this I used NIK silver, Noise 3 effect then adjusted shadows etc in Photoshop.In my camera bag
Camera, standard zoom and a 70 400 zoom. Spare batteries and cards. Like to travel light sherd possible.Feedback
Grab candid shots as non possible one sometimes better. Then chat to subject show an interest in state they are doing, even if you are not! Get there agreement to take more shots. Know your gear so not fiddling with camera as if you do not know what you are doing. Keep talking bug do not over stay your welcome. You will see a glazed look come into their eyes if you do.
