Location
This shot was taken at the Arbuckle Lake in Southcentral Oklahoma right after a received my new Tamron 200-600 mm lens. When I saw the Eagle in the tree onshore as I was about to take the shot when he flu, I then followed him through, at the time I did not see the fish at the top of the water. I was holding down the shutter to get all the shots I could, and this was it.Time
By the time I arrived at the Lake and found the eagle it was about 1:00 pm, was a lovely day and after the shot, the eagle went below the damLighting
As far as lighting goes, I took what the day offered.Equipment
The equipment I used. Nikon D7100, Tamron 200-600mm handheld.Inspiration
I heard that there was an eagle there, and I had never taken a picture of an eagle and wanted to see what I could do with a moving bird. And since then, I have found many eagles.Editing
I did do a little post-processing from raw to jpg and a little less light. In my camera bag
I have in my bag at this time is a Nikon D7100 with an 18-300mm, Nikon, D500 with a 200-500mm and a tripod. I travel as light as I can.Feedback
From the time I took this picture, I found that I must walk slow and easy as not to spook the bird as you can not get to close before the fly.
