Location
This photo was taken in Newcastle NSW Australia, it is a favourite place that I go to swim and take photos. I often take my camera in the water with me and on this day the ocean was calm, the sun was out and I love trying to get photos of 50/50 above and below water and this day was a perfect day for it. The land in the distance is Nobbys Light House a famous part f Newcastle's history.Time
It was about mid morning, the sun was bright, the day was clear and so was the water. Everything just lined up for me so lucky.Lighting

This was taken on my Nikon Coolpix AW120, just a little point and shoot camera I have to take in the water, its perfect for the things I like to do. The only thing is when I try to take 50/50 shots being such a small lens makes it difficult to get that shot that I want but other then that its great for underwater photography.Inspiration

I carry my cameras just about everywhere in my backpack. So I have the Nikon AW120, A Canon 700D with the 2 standard lenses that can with it, 18-55mm and 55-250mm and just an old tripod I carry around incase I need it. I also love taking photos with my Iphone so in my back pack are small lenses and tripod for the Iphone.Feedback
Sometimes takes 100 photos to get that shot that your looking for, so just keep taking them. Its all about practice and trying new things and have fun with it.
