Leopard Against Blue Sky

This is the photograph that sparked my passion for photography - and ultimately led to my transition from being an attorney to a photographer. My husband purchased a “fancy” camera for me as an inducement to go on safari in Africa. At the time neither one of us knew anything about cameras. but fortunately the salesperson recommended that he buy a telephoto lens to go with the camera. On safari, it was “on the job” training for me to learn how to use the camera. The photo above was from the first day. Once I saw what the camera could do, I was hooked and never looked back.
