Location
This was taken off a small dirt road about 5 miles outside of Okeen, OK.Time
The photo was taken early morning a little after sunriseLighting
It was a super clear day and I thought for sure the lack of clouds would make for a boring photo. First cloudless photo I've every took and liked.Equipment
Shot with a Canon T3i rebel with a Tamaron 18-200mm Lens shot at 200mmInspiration
I was on vacation while driving from my mom's house in Okeen to my sisters house in Kingfisher my mom says, turn down this dirt road My friend Claudia's horse gave birth to a colt 2 days ago. Let's see if we can get a look at him. I was turning the car down the road before she could even finish what she was saying because on the hill I could already see them walking towards us.Editing
Thre was a gradient map added to photo because sky was just too brightIn my camera bag
Canon rebel T3i is my only camera and the Tamaron 18-200mm is a work horse and just about the only lens I travel with, except for my nifty fifty.Feedback
Always have you camera with you and ready. I had no intentions of shooting any photos during this drive. In fact the only reason I took my camera was to take a couple shoots of my sister and her family. Since this trip last Nov. I never leave the house with out my camera and some of the random shots I gotten because of it are some of my favorites.
