This is False Kiva in Utah.
False Kiva is a human-made stone circle of unknown origin in a cave in a remote area of the Utah. While located in a naturally occurring alcove, the name False Kiva arises from the uncertainty around the circle of stones' origins and purpose, whether it is really an authentic kiva, a location used for religious purposes.
However, it was 2 mile (one side) strenuous hike consisting of multiple ups and down with the max elevation of 512ft. There were atleast 5 spots where a mis-step could land you into the 100ft deep canyon. With no marked trails and following the cairns, we lost our way and ended up hiking 1 additional mile to reach just at sunset. The more scary part was hiking back in dark !
Well .. 5 mile level 3 hike … all worth it when you are able to get this view in your camera!!
To tell you all .. my wife has been after me to go to gym since last few years .. all in vain. But when this trip was planned .. I immediately started and trained my legs for last 4 months to take this hike.
All worth it !
Update : Oct2018: Unfortunately some people vandalized this place in mid July and destroyed this place for ever. This place can no longer be access, since NPS has closed the trail.
