When you go for a walk in this North Jutland desert you can once in a while spot patterns of dark sand. It is sand that is rich in heavy metals and not oil, as some will believe. There were lots of these unique patterns when I was there. The locals calls heavy sand for a more poetic name, Exactly: "star dust!" The heavy sand weighs more than the white quartz sand, and therefore it is deposited together in strips or stains.
