Location
This shot was taken in the hallway of Punch Line Sacramento Comedy Club. I'm the house photographer, so I take photos of the big headliners that come through. Tracy works there, so he was just helping me test the lighting!Time
It was evening, but their hallway is well lit, so it doesn't matter what time of day you shoot.Lighting
As long as you have external lights, you can pretty much do any still of lighting you want. You can bounce off the wall, use 1 strobe, or 2, or even just use the ambient lighting.Equipment
I used a Nikon D800e with a 70-200mm f/2.8 Tamron, and two cheap (off brand) studio strobes.Inspiration
I needed sometime to fill in to test lighting and I wanted to try something with Tracy since he had an awesome look, and he had a ton of character. I'm super happy with this image.Editing
