I went to a butterfly pavilion in Key West and what did I come away with? That's right a shot of a bird. Although I do think with its skill it could go pro as a bird model. What do you think is on this birds mind?

Wow, this is gorgeous! There's a contest called underexposed, I think you should summit this photo.

It's funny you should say that! I went to the contest and saw I already had it as an entry.

Location
I took this in the Key West Butterfly Pavilion in Florida.Time
This was an incredibly stormy day full of rain and was shot around noon. The roof was made of glass and allowed for soft light to spill down below illuminating this little one.Lighting
The bird stepped out of the shadows and into the light making the photo really pop. I couldn't believe it knew exactly what to do.Equipment
For the camera I used my Nikon D750 paired with the 1st gen of the Tamron 70-200 F2.8Inspiration
The unique features in the birds plumage intrigued me immediately.Editing
I added local contrast to the bird and dodged as well as burner particular areas. I also adder a little warmth to the picture overallIn my camera bag
Everything! I have turned into a mule because I regret not having brought something along. For filters I use Breakthrough Photography filters including a polarizer and neutral density. I carry my Nikon D7000 and D750 (with grip) with my Tokina 16-28 F2.8, a Tamron 70-200mm F2.8,,Yongnuo 560 IV flash and receiver, and lastly my cable release and my 3-Legged Thing Albert Equinox tripod.Feedback
