Behind The Lens

Location

The picture was taken in Russia, in the Khabarovsk Territory, on the Big Ussuri Island.

Time

Golden Hour time, at sunset

Lighting

The weather was overcast and overcast. I was lucky with the wind, I dispersed the clouds and the setting sun turned out to illuminate the landscape for me)

Equipment

Used a camera Canon 60D and lens Canon 15-85 f/3,5-5,6. I took photos with my hands in the aperture mode, I did not use the flash.

Inspiration

According to the weather forecast, there should have been a thunderstorm. Therefore, I gathered and went to the island to notice interesting locations and points for photographing. But there was no thunderstorm. A lot of shots were made, but from all the footage I liked this swamp in the rays of the departing sun.

Editing

Post-processing is done in Photoshop. I set the white balance based on the desired nature of the image. I perform separate color correction with masks. And it is desirable that everything is minimal, so as not to destroy the naturalness.

In my camera bag

In the bag there is a camera, a lens (for nature, I only need one zoom lens), a flash, an ND filter, and there is always a tripod in the car. I don't like too much technology.

Feedback

The most important thing is to overcome your laziness))) Do not be afraid to make mistakes, accept constructive criticism, and do not stop there.
