Very atmospheric

Behind The Lens

Location
I took this image on the North West of Iceland in early March at Budir on the Snæfellsness Peninsula. Budir Church is one of the oldest extant wooden churches in Iceland , built around 1702 and rebuilt in the 18th century.
Time
I got to the church at around 10 o'clock. The weather was awful then the sun came out and I managed to get soom pictures, for a short while anyhow. Behind the church is a mountain but it was obscured by mist and snow.
Lighting
It was about midday when this was taken but the sun was not very high in the sky so light was still good but cold. shortly after this shot the weather turned nasty so it was time to go.
Equipment
I was using an Olympus E-M1mk2 and 12-40 f2.8 lens with tripod.
Inspiration
You can't help but be inspired here, Iceland is a great place for inspiration.
Editing
Lightroom for processing, a little colour adjustment making sure the snow in white and sharpening.
In my camera bag
I have changed my camera, I now shoot on a Fuji. So 2 bodys 2 zooms 16-55 f2.8 and 55-200, and 3 primes with spare batteries, cleaning cloths, torch, polarizer filters and ND filters.Oh and a tripod,
Feedback
What your exposure and keep warm.
