cool photograph with nice details and good contrasts, keep shooting!

Behind The Lens

Location
In my backyard.
Time
Midday.
Lighting
Midday light makes for good shutter speeds but harsh shadows. It's important to be aware of the position of the sun in relation to your subject(s).
Equipment
Canono 6D with 500mm Sigma telephoto.
Inspiration
Wildlife passes through my backyard regularly, though this was the first time I'd caught bobcats on camera.
Editing
This is a single exposure, processed to maximize the dynamic range and decrease shadows. I softened some background distractions.
In my camera bag
For nature photography, my Sigma 150-500mm and Canon 70-200mm.
Feedback
Think before clicking the shutter, but don't overthink. Take a lot of pictures. Know what can be fixed in post and what must be gotten right on camera.
