I regard the psyche as a sort of circus clown car, one of those tiny automobiles that careen across the ring and then an unbelievable number of "little people" clowns emerge and begin hitting one another with rubber baseball bats and hammers. My skills at masking and layering have grown since I made this piece but I like the original for its roughness. Talk about the Fluid Self!
