thanks a lot, really appreciate it. had the ladder in a ouple of shots, so for me it was part of the set, but i understand what you mean :)

Location
We took this photos in Gozo (Malta) on the roof of a farmhouse we stayed in for some weeks. All the props such as gas bottles and ladder i took upstairs for the shootTime
The shoot was during the day, was rather hot already but with flash as well as reflector we managed to overcome the sun partlyLighting
We used a reflector as well as a flash with a blue filter over it to get a but of a blue light into itEquipment
I used my canon 5d mark ii together with 24-70mm lens. On top i had the previously mentioned flash setupInspiration
We wanted something different, something edgy. The roof made an interesting backdrop and with all the props it got this mad max feelingEditing
Mostly colouring in lightroom but I did as well some skin touch ups and sharpening/ clariry especially to some of the props to make them pop moreIn my camera bag
Really depends on the shoot. But for fashion it is now my canon 5d mark iii as well as 24-70mm lens and 70-200mmFeedback
Look for props and build your set. Lights help of course but its the scene that makes the shot
