Human essence is no clearer than can be seen when watching a child - their desire to explore their surroundings, to immerse themselves with creatures and objects of the natural world, and find their place within it. Truly, this is not something we ever really grow out of, for we are always grasping at our surroundings, trying to find our place. We may trade the garden for the city, and find worlds outdoors to accompany those within ourselves, but our essence, remains.
