We had been hoping to see this coalition of these two know cheetah brothers during our stay at Namiri Plains. We found one of the brothers the night before at this spot calling for his companion. In the morning we found the two reunited. During our time with them they were joined by a female cheetah. One of the brothers got amorous, leaving the other bored and possibly hungry. We watched him attempt several wildebeest hunts.

Namiri Plains is located an hour and a half's drive due east from the game-rich core of the Serengeti – Seronera. The camp opened in July 2014 in an area that for more than 20 years had been closed to the public. Previously this region had exclusively been used for cheetah conservation and the number of big cats found here, especially lion prides and cheetahs, is astonishing.
