Taken while the weather was good, before the snow in this past Feb 2018. My son aimed to fish but mom had alternate plans when the lake was found so low. I loved the rings along the bank. The snow in the back ground, it was just an outstanding shot, that I couldn't pass up.

It was early to mid afternoon, one spring day. My kids and I were driving along the lake road that travels around the vast majority of the lake. When we noticed this picture and had to capture it. So I stopped the car on the shoulder of the road an an incline and took the shot.Lighting
I had hopes to show the reflection of both the sky and snow in the photo giving off all of nature's elements that day in one shot. Giving almost a grounding quality just by looking at it.Equipment
I used my Samsung galaxy note 10+Inspiration
I love componet shots, where there is more than one element going on in one photo. I feel that having more than one can often take what would other wise be an original print that anyone can just randomly take and instead giving it a pazaz or a type of flair to it. Making it a picture to remember and making it special for those who enjoy and appreciate photography.Editing
Nope not really. I rarely edit my photos. The bulk of my work is raw and untouched. I believe that a job well done the first time should be done right. If it's not perfect I trash the whole collection and will straight up start over.In my camera bag
No bag, just my phone and a charger to keep the photos coming.Feedback
Look for components that will make the photo pop. Cloud formations reflecting in water. Dew on a blade of grass fixing to slide off. A pinecone shrouded in ice in a mud puddle , a frozen piece of wood.. In some of those instances it would be wise to make the object the center of your photo. Zoom in or use the close up feature. It will magnify things and make It appear more than what you first see.
