Historic Hotel Missouri in Springfield Mo. The building was built back in 1927 as the Greene Tavern, then changed to the Melnor (?) Hotel in the 30's, finally to the Hotel Missouri in the 1950s til it closed down. For 30 years it was a homeless shelter til it was closed in 2015. Today it has a new owner and hopefully soon a new lease on life.

This truck is sitting on a friend's property and I'd love to have it. The 3600 is equivalent to today's 3500HD for it's time.

Took this at the Route 66 Car Museum in Springfield, MO. Only 12000 of these cars were made between 1948 and 1954, which is around 2000 cars per year
