I live on a beautiful island in the UK called the isle of wight. I'm extremely fortunate to have amazing view from my bedroom window which is where this photo was taken.Time
It was early evening just after the sun had set. I was actually originally sat on the window sill waiting patiently for our neighbourhood bat to make his appearance.Lighting
With the right settings any light is good light. Even if editing is needed.Equipment
I used my fujifilm finepix sl1000 bridge camera. Handheld, no flash, sunset mode in settings.Inspiration
I loved the contrast of the palm trees silhouette against the beautiful colouring of the sunset. I'm drawn to colours.Editing
The only thing I did to this picture was use the sunset mode to enable the colours to stay bright and not fade out.In my camera bag
I literally just carry my camera about with me all the time. I never feel the need to carry anything else other than my mobile.Feedback
Point and capture what ever you're drawn to. Anything can make a picture beautiful, you just have to look for it even if it takes you 500 attempts to get it perfect.
