The Mackenzie River Rainforest Walk is a perfect opportunity for travellers to stop, break their drive and stretch their legs.
The walk is around one kilometre along sealed pathways, boardwalks and swing bridges. Although the track is sealed, wheelchair access is not recommended as there are steps in some sections.
It takes about 45 minutes to complete at a relaxed pace.
Information boards along the way provide insight into the forest and the plants and animals that live in it.
