Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken in my yard like most of my macro shots are. The spider was perched on the underside of a pear blossom.Time
It was around 4:30pm and slightly overcast which I like shooting in the diffused light that comes with clouds.Lighting
It was slightly overcast but the sun was still somewhat high in the sky giving my a good angle to shoot with the sun at my back.(which is usually a big no no) My subject being on the underside of the blossom gave a good angle for the light.Equipment
This was show with my canon 6D camera and my favorite lens, my 60mm f/2.8 prime canon macro lens. The lens might not be the best for what I'm shooting but I like working with it.Inspiration
This was shot during one of my 365 projects where I shoot and upload a photo for every day of the year.Editing
I did a basic color balance and cleaned up some of the lesser blurry areas. In my camera bag
I always carry my 60mm 2.8 macro lens as I like to look at the smaller things but I also keep my 50mm 1.4 lens handy for general use. I also carry aspirin because I'm not going to let something like a headache stop me from taking pictures.Feedback
Always have patients when working with live subjects in the outdoors with the elements. Avoid windy days if photographing such a small subject.
