Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in Chesterfield and I am self taught so I am always trying new things. Like with this image.

Time

This one of my more fun images. They had installed/erected the Ferris wheel for that Christmas and I wanted to have a try with some different techniques. For example I love night time, which was when I shot this, it puts a different spin on the way we see things.

Lighting

I had been doing some long exposures with it to start but then wanted to give more depth so I manually zoomed out whilst taking the shot. Which worked really well.

Equipment

I was using my lumix GX7 with a 14-42mm lens and my manfroto tripod.

Inspiration

I love trying something different once I master something and changing it up with adding a different technique at the same time.

Editing

Just sharpen and converted to black and white in photoshop.

In my camera bag

My bag usually has my GX7 14-42mm lens and my 25mm 1.7 and a second battery.

Feedback

Don’t limit yourself to just one style mix it up a bit.
