Horses have served us for millenia. Even though they are not typically used for modern warfare like they once were, they still often serve as police transport especially in urban areas. Seeing this line of riot police in Prague with their horses, both in modern body armor, struck me because of the timelessness of our reliance on horses for various types of combat.
