Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Lake of the Arbuckle in Sulphur, Oklahoma. And it was the first Eagle to take a photo of in-flight I had seen him leave the tree and followed him and as he hit the water, I was taking the picture.

Time

The time of day was around 10:00 am

Lighting

The sun was up and very bright and sunny and no sun reflection.

Equipment

Nikon D 7100 with a Tamron 150-600 lens hand held.

Inspiration

The love of Eagles and wanting to take pictures of them and the tour to see Eagles did not see any up closes, yet I did see them on the other side of the lake, and I drove over there and got this picture.

Editing

only crop it.

In my camera bag

Nikon D 7100, Tamron 150-600, Nikon 18-300.

Feedback

Long lens and many shoots and hope for the best. I would recommend using a tripod and not handheld as I did, I believe it would work better and have a smoother shot.
