I went to the lake, saw the Eagle in the tree, watched him fly, and followed him, and as he was about to hit the water, I took the picture.

Location

I took this photo in Oklahoma at veterans lake. It was my first time to look for Eagles, and this was when I saw this eagle on top of a tree, and as I pulled up to see him, he took off from the tree, and I followed him to the water, and it was after I took the shot is when I saw the fish.

Time

I remember that it was around 10:00 am when I first spotted him, and this became my favorite photo, the sun was bright that day, and he was there waiting for me

Lighting

It was bright and sunning that day

Equipment

It was shot with a Nikon D7100 with a Nikon 70-300 with 5.6. no tripod, just handheld.

Inspiration

I had the opportunity to watch for Eagles at this lake as I have always loved eagles from boyhood, and this was the day.
