Bearded tits are one of my favorite bird species, they´re just so adorable as they are climbing through the reeds to gether food. But they can be rather hard to find in the dense stalks, on windy days that´s pretty much impossible. But last week I was extremely lucky despite the wind - I was just out to enjoy the winter sun at a nearby lake - and found a couple in a relatively sheltered bay. In this picture, he was just almost blown off the reed and just barely managed to catch himself.
