An outstanding portraiture !
This series (of 4) is a remarkable set of pictures of this Little Classic Beauty.
I think (?) this image is my favorite of the group.
The timelessness of the image in B&W form, leads the viewer directly to her soulful gaze without the distraction of color, and makes for an incredibly moving and beautiful portrait.
The underlying hint of sadness in her tender features and innocence, makes us wish we could comfort and care for her, just as she does the flower. For each, is fragile, no matter the era.
