Location
This photo was taken on the edge of one of the empty pool of the Louvre pyramid in Paris, France, in october 2015.Time
It's was 25 minutes before midnight just before the lights turns off for the museum et pyramide.Lighting
It's the original light of the building, nothing additional and a 6 secondes exposure at 100 ISO at f/8 to have the best definition. I was a little frustrated because the pool was empty coz with water it would have been more beautiful. Two other little disappointments (not important) was the pipe in the middle et the horrible temporary red barracks on the right to much difficult to erase on photoshop, but it just details.Equipment
This photo was a 6s exposure shoot with a Nikon D750 with a AF Fisheye Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D and a Joby GorillaPod tripod placed on the edge of the empty pool.Inspiration
I was inspired by this ephemeral red lightning artistic effect created by Claude Lévêque in 2015 for the Louvre pyramid and very interesting with the double reflection on the marble edge.Editing
Yes a little coz I shoot only in raw so a little process (brightness, tone, contrast) on Camera Raw, that's all.In my camera bag
Most of the time I have a Nikon D850 with a AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR or AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED sometimes also a AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D and a little Joby GorillaPod tripod.Feedback
To made this kind of photo, just wander at night with your camera and at minimum a little tripod to do long exposure. And let your inspiration do the rest !
