Continuing my series of vertical - cell-phone wallpaper style scenes. I attempted to capture this scene several times while visiting Shasta, but it always eluded me. The nights were quite cloudy and there were few stars to be seen. Regardless, my shots at Lake Siskyou turned out quite good, so I was able to recreate what might have been (though I doubt this particular portion of the Milky Way ever appears in the portion of the sky!)
