Zoe is our 15 year old Belgian Shepard mix. As her arthritis worsened, her ability to walk any distance decreased. We made the decision to get her a wheelchair (from Eddie's Wheels for Pets) and it has completely changed her life, and ours. This photograph of her is my favorite because it highlights joy with getting her independence back. Her determination and love of life inspires our family, and so many others, that we are in the midst of writing a book about her journey.
