The once hidden bridge (A ponte outrora escondida)
The river Mourinho bridge was submerged by the waters of the Pego do Altar dam (Alcácer do Sal - Portugal) two decades ago, but the drought that has reached the Alentejo caused the descent of the reservoir level, uncovering the old passage between the localities of "Santa Susana" and "São Cristóvão". The bridge, about 30 meters high, was built 200 years ago.
