This photo was taken probably in 2008 when I visited Sicily. We visited the Etna lava-field during the day time. It was active some time back. Came down to Castelmola for the night. I was quite inquisitive whether some glow could be seen or not. I pointed in the direction of the expected flow, set the focus at infinity and left it for 10 minutes with my 100-400m tele. This was the result. Not a very dazzling one as it was by pure luck.
