Cupid Is Not Hitting The Target

Cupid Does Not Always Hit.
My photography has already crossed the fine line between the normative type of portraiture to conceptual fantasy. I have wanted it to be conceptual, ever since as I love storytelling. So this is Cupid.

You dream of the perfect person, and the greatest affection resides in your dreams and desires. But perhaps Cupid is often missing the target. If it was easy for him, you would have already found someone in your first time. Cupid is stupid really! Because he fills you a strong love potion at first, esp. when you are a kid (immature) in love. It's perhaps the reason why the first time cuts the deepest. Because you expect things to be perfect and you let that person fills your insecurities, and when it's gone, you're that fragile to be broken. You never learn. While Cupid keeps on hitting and missing targets, you move on and you grow up to become the fulfilled person, even a better version of yourselves. Until you become whole single-handedly, you realised, you are already complete and happy. You don't even need a soulmate to complete you! Somehow Cupid always realises this. It's not because you match together perfectly, you'll last. But it's because of the many differences. Not about filling a hole or missing parts. But learning to understand so much more about a person, of each other. It's just a matter of time.

Cupid has so much love to give. So should you. And Cupid doesn't even care if he's given so much love to many people. You could be Cupid, and let that person find you for the person that you are.
