This Photograph was taken in the early morning hours of January 20, 2918. “The two-lane Sabine Street Bridge is 240 ft. in length and spans 40 ft. over the Buffalo Bayou. It was built in 1924 by engineer W. W. Washburn and features a concrete tee beam construction. The bridge is still in service today and handles approximately 1,090 in average daily traffic.
