I am posting this shot for a challenge here on Viewbug. The challenge is called Agate Magic sponsored by Lulumareeimages. I am really drawn to this challenge because I am a silversmith and lapidary. Agates are one of my favorites stones to work. I gather them in the mountains and desert here in Utah ( other locations as well), take them home to slice and polish. Then I make them into jewelry using sterling silver. The various agates here come from numerous locations including Mexico, California, and Utah. The top two pieces are agatized dinosaur bone. I did not collect these stones, I purchased them in rough form which I then cut and polished.
