The photo was taken late afternoon as the sun was setting.Lighting
I wanted to get the sun as it was setting in the west.Equipment
For this shot I used a Sony RX100 MK2 as I was on a tour with family. I didn't want to carry the Sony a7 II as we were heading out for dinner afterwards.Inspiration
I looked at the bridge and noticed that all the lamp posts were in line diagonally. I knew this shot would make a great B&W.Editing
Yes, I used Luminar 2018 to post process. Some cropping and choosing B&W rather than keeping it in colour.In my camera bag
Normally use my Sony a7 II with 16-35 F2.8 and 24-70 F2.8. As we were going out afterwards, I only had the Sony RX100 with me.Feedback
Look for a shot that is different to what most others would take. Sometimes think B&W even before you take the shot. Learn to use post processing software.
