As soon as I took this shot I knew I had it.. I can’t emphasize enough how much effort Isaias Miciu and me put to take this shot.
We’ve been trying to get the perfect shot of Lanin Volcano for the last 3 years. After paddling for more than 4 hs we got to this hidden beach, just before sunrise. A perfect clear blue sky matched and balanced the warm hues hitting the trees, and the mountain appears at the end, hidden in the background but glowing with its iconic white light, a result of the early sun rays hitting its snowy peak.
