I actually took this photo in a couch in my grandmas house.Next to it was a window with sunlight.I saw an opportunity for a great photo.Time
It was approximately 11am.It was a great time for a picture because it was a nice sunny morning.I also remember it being so calm.Lighting
The only lighting I used was direct sunlight from a window.I really liked it because it was the perfect amount of light.Sunlight is convenient because there’s nothing to setup and it’s free.Equipment
The camera I use is a Canon Powershot sx530.To use with the direct sunlight I used a suncatcher to get the lines of light on my face.Inspiration
What started this photo was the sunlight.I use or edit a prism into almost every photo of mine.Once I saw the sunlight I got out my suncatcher and my camera.Editing
In this picture I did not to do any post processing. In my camera bag
I actually don’t have much since I’m still learning. For my prism effects I carry a suncatcher and a glass prism.Last but not least I obviously carry my Canon Powerhsot sx530.Feedback
The most important I’ve been mentioning is sunlight. To be able to use a suncatcher like I did,it’s crucial to be able to have the best sunlight possible. It doesn’t really work with artificial lighting in my experience.Without it,part of this picture is missing.Behind me the picture is just dark and not really as important,I intended that because I like to focus more on the foreground rather than everything that is going on.
