The Big House on the Hill

This house I was made aware of thru talking to a gentleman I was working with. He told me about a large two story house he remembered from when he was a kid (it was abandoned at that time fifty years ago). Could not remember exactly where it was located but sent me down the road he thought it was located on. Which was not the case. This house is unusually large for plains homes in North Dakota. The original family had evidently been very large to match the amount of land this family farmed. There again more land more cheap labor was needed to work the crops.
