This photo was taken in my backyard. My sister and I decided we wanted some cool woodsy shots so I grabbed my camera and we headed out!Time
I took this mid to late afternoon.Lighting
The day was kind of overcast, so I didn't have to worry about glare.Equipment
This was taken on a Canon tsi, with a 50-70mm lens.Inspiration
There really wasn't any concrete moment of inspiration, I just thought "hey it'd be cool to get a shot through these leaves" so I had my sister lean up against the tree and took the photo.Editing
I just did some basic processing in Lightroom: exposure and white balance adjustment, some spot removal, etc.In my camera bag
Usually I just have the camera and lens that I shot this photo with, as well as two prime lenses, a 50mm and a 24mm. I also have a small portable tripod that I take out with me as needed.Feedback
The best way to get the perfect shot is just to get out there and start shooting!
