This is one of the best FINE ART photos I've seen. The light coming through and resting on your model has her skin looking at its very best. The unassuming pose has an innocence that is not portrayed in many of the nude phots of today. The natural colors have made it possible to keep your full attention to your model. Just a wonderful picture representing the best in Fine Art. Well done.Write a comment

Location
This was shot at my friend’s studio ion the NW side of Baltimore, MD. The studio is in an old factory building. This small room in the studio has a gorgeous window that extends almost to the ceiling. The walls have a great weathered look and the patina on the floor is to die for.Time
I don’t remember specifically, but judging from the light pattern on the floor it was probably within an hour on either side of noon.Lighting
This is entirely natural light from the window on the left side of the image. Just out of frame on the right side of the image is a v flat to reflect window light back onto the model.Equipment
I don’t remember specifically which camera, but it probably was my Fujifilm XT-1 with a 50-140 f 2.8 lens.Inspiration
My friend Carr and I booked Sienna for the day. I have been doing a series titled “One Window and a Chair” and this image was taken as part of the series.Editing
My normal post processing protocol is to do the raw conversion in Lightroom. I then bring it into Photoshop where I use the Color FX Pro filters to enhance the texture of the walls and floor. Then I use the Imagnomic plug in to work on the model’s skin. I try to keep the intensity of the Imagnomic plug in as low as possible to keep the skin looking natural. In my camera bag
I have three camera bodies. Fujifilm XT-1, Fujifilm XE-2, and Fujifilm X100S. I have the Fujifilm 50-140, 18-55, 35 mm f1.4 prime and 56 mm f1.2 prime.Feedback
If you use a mirrorless camera, you can set the viewfinder to show the image with the actual exposure pre shot. It gives you a great opportunity to adjust the exposure to get it just as you want it before tripping the shutter. Getting it as close as you can in camera saves you a lot of time in post.
