There are many fantastic walks and bike rides around Zermatt, Switzerland. unfortunately they are also very seasonal, and you may find that there is limited access unless visiting in the summer. Along one of the hikes we came across a little hut filled with red squirrels and birds enjoying a free meal from the many bird feeders here.
