A pair of Chickadees decided that an old log in my garden would be a great place to make their nest. They weren't bothered by the cars and motorcycles coming and going. I was lucky to be out with my camera when the little ones were ready to leave the nest! This little one didn't fly far before landing in front of my dog. I picked it up for it's safety and took a picture before putting it where it would be OK.

Chickadees had built their nest in an old log. I watched them day after day flying into the hole with food for their chicks. I was lucky to be outside when the little ones came to the opening and finally flew out. This little Fledgling took off and landed in the tall grass. I went over and picked it up so my dog wouldn't scare it or hurt it.Editing
I cropped the photo so only my hand and the bird were shown. In my camera bag
